As we expand, we are seeking a Director of Engineering to lead our multidisciplinary teams, elevate our technical standards, and drive transformative project outcomes. The Role As Director of Engineering , you will set the vision for our engineering operations, oversee the execution of complex projects, and ensure the highest levels of quality and innovation. You will lead a team of engineers and designers across multiple disciplines, partner with clients at a strategic level, and play a key role in shaping the future of our companys technical and design capabilities. You will be responsible for: Providing leadership and strategic direction for all engineering and design activities across mechanical, electrical, and related disciplines. Overseeing the planning, coordination, and delivery of high-performance building systems for mission-critical facilities. Ensuring all projects meet technical, budgetary, and scheduling goals while exceeding client expectations. Driving innovation in sustainable design, energy efficiency, and emerging technology integration. Developing, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performing team of engineers and designers. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders. What Success Looks Like Delivering technically superior, code-compliant designs that align with client objectives and industry best practices. Building a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and accountability within the engineering team. Establish yourself as a trusted advisor to clients and a thought leader in the industry. Driving efficiency and innovation in design processes, resulting in measurable project improvements. What Youll Need to Be Successful Essential Skills and Experience: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Any Discipline, Required). Professional Engineer (PE) License (Required). 12+ years of engineering design experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record leading multidisciplinary teams in the delivery of large-scale, complex projects. Deep knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and best practices (NEC, ASHRAE, IEEE, IMC, etc.). Strong communication and negotiation skills able to bridge technical expertise with executive-level discussions. Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client expectations. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with mission-critical facilities, healthcare, or large industrial projects. Advanced degree in Engineering or Management.
