Role Overview This role is responsible for accelerating the adoption of emerging technologies and shaping three-year technology strategies in collaboration with our key IHV partners. By working closely with product management, this position ensures the seamless integration of sustained, differentiated innovation into HP's product portfolio-delivering industry-leading user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with TIO, TPO, and business units to architect advanced technology solutions across the PS portfolio. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies in the market, nurturing high-potential innovations and incubating them for future product integration. Drive alignment between long-term technology roadmaps and business objectives, ensuring readiness for future market demands. Serve as a strategic bridge between engineering innovation and business needs, enabling scalable, forward-looking solutions. IHV Strategy: establish strategic partnerships & relationships with external technology providers and industry leaders to drive differentiated experience for HP through co-engineering Partner with the PC engineering ecosystem to drive new technologies and architectural standards that can differentiate HP's commercial PC offering, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technological excellence. Engineering Business Development / Management: Participate in customer conversation on discovery and understanding customer needs on computing & related solution needs. Identify technology trend that connects to long-term Commercial PC goals and convert them into architecture opportunities through engineering. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of architects and engineering professionals, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and professional growth while promoting best practices. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: Applies understanding of technical innovations and trends to improve commercial customers' ongoing needs. Growth Driver: Innovative, entrepreneurial, and an action-oriented change agent Partnership to Win: A win-win mindset who knows how to leverage engineering collaboration to build solutions through an ecosystem that differentiates HP's Commercial PC: Technology Expertise with Business Acumen: Connect Technology trends and features and fabrics into engineering Solution concept. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor's or master's in computer science or business management or equivalent degrees 10 or more years of related work experience, including 10 or more years of people management experience at a global scale. Experienced in both Business Development / Customer and Engineering organization is preferred. The base pay range for this role is $210,000 to $260,000 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
