Position Overview
Take a leadership role in Emergency Services at a prominent hospital located just outside Fort Worth, serving as a key tertiary referral center for the region. Guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, patient-centered emergency care while driving operational excellence and quality outcomes.
Highlights of the Position Oversee a busy Emergency Department with 25+ beds and approximately 100-120 daily patient visits
Manage multiple ER locations, including main campus and off-site emergency facilities
Lead a team of roughly 70 full-time staff and 100 total employees, including managers and clinical nurse coordinators
Partner with hospital leadership to advance clinical programs and expand service offerings
Responsible for budgeting, staffing, compliance, quality assurance, and patient throughput

Job Requirements Experience: Minimum of 3 years of recent acute care Emergency Department leadership experience (ED Director or Manager role)
Education: Bachelor's Degree required (Bachelor's in Nursing preferred)
Master's Degree preferred
Skills and Knowledge: Strong leadership and management skills in a high-volume, complex emergency care environment Proven ability to develop and implement policies and procedures that improve quality, safety, and operational efficiency Experience with budget management, staffing, and labor optimization Knowledge of legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards related to emergency services Ability to foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellent patient experience Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage with multidisciplinary teams and hospital leadership
