As the Education Program Director , you will play a vital leadership role in fostering an educational setting that champions student achievement, safety, and engagement. Your responsibilities will include implementing instructional strategies, managing site operations, and ensuring compliance with educational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership to support student achievement and operational effectiveness.
Supervise staff, develop performance management plans, and recognize professional development needs.
Participate in the recruitment and selection process to build a proficient faculty/staff team.
Lead training and onboarding efforts to ensure new staff are set up for success.
Monitor and maintain a safe learning environment, ensuring compliance with all guidelines.
Oversee day-to-day operations including administration, financial management, and resource allocation.
Participate in the enrollment process ensuring timely classroom placements and smooth transitions.
Analyze student performance data to guide interventions and instructional decisions.
Develop and present reports on student progress and program effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with IEP processes, state testing, and educational policies.
Support students with academic challenges and promote positive behavior strategies.
Perform additional duties as needed to enhance program effectiveness.
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree or higher in education, special education, psychology, counseling, or a closely related field.
Educational leadership or school administrator credential with a minimum of 2 years of experience in special education.
Ability to obtain state-required credentials.
Qualifications Preferred:
2 years of prior experience in an educational leadership role.
Experience working with students with disabilities.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development and management.
Effective communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Experience with community relations and building partnerships.
Proficient in relevant technology and instructional tools.
