Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Director of Ecommerce at Comfy Cubs. The Director of Ecommerce will oversee and manage our ecommerce operations, including developing strategies, analyzing data, optimizing sales channels, and leading the ecommerce team. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring website performance, coordinating with marketing and sales teams, driving online sales growth, and enhancing the customer online shopping experience. This role is on-site and located in Miami, FL.
Qualifications
Proven experience scaling and managing a large team on a day to day basis, ensuring roles are clear and nothing falls through the gaps.
Deep knowledge of e-commerce across all major marketplaces, with specific expertise in Amazon as a standalone channel.
Ability to work closely with ads and marketing teams to develop strategies, monitor performance, and drive growth.
Strong track record of creating projects, launching them, and seeing them through successfully from beginning to end.
Ability to manage and review profit margins and pricing strategies, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
Operations and logistics understanding, with experience coordinating with logistics, inventory forecasting, and fulfillment teams (FBA, WFS, 3PLs). Skilled in balancing stock levels, forecasting demand, and preventing both stockouts and overstocking.
Team leadership skills to build and oversee marketplace, DTC, and support teams. Ability to create SOPs, assign accountability, and ensure nothing falls through the gaps.
Familiarity with analytics tools such as Amazon Brand Analytics, Helium 10, and Google Analytics.
Growth and innovation mindset, with an entrepreneurial approach. Thrives in fast paced environments, is a strong problem solver, and capable of spotting gaps while implementing new strategies quickly.
This role reports directly to the Managing Partner and is a key leadership position in shaping the company’s growth.
