Director of Divisional FP&A ESCO Portland, OR Hybrid - 3 Days per week in office
Purpose of Role: This individual will be directing the FP&A Department and will be leading the ESCO's integrated financial quarterly forecast, annual budgeting and strategic financial planning processes, current period over prior period analysis, operating plan variance analysis, and special projects. They will provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations and operational books, monthly financial letters, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons. and other projects requested by senior management. This function acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights, enable and support optimal business decision making. The direct reports to this role include, OLAP analyst and three/four financial analysts. They will drive the department to have the recognized expertise in interpreting and applying information about key operational and financial drivers to enable profitable enterprise growth.

Key Responsibilities: Financial consulting and strategic support to executives. Process owner and directs an integrated corporate financial planning cycle which includes strategic planning forecast, annual forecast, quarterly plan updates and quarter mid-cycle updates as required. Process owner and directs the Company’s capital expenditure annual and quarterly planning process. Develops partnership and integration between the FPA Department and Group and Business Units’ management. Directs the division managerial financial reporting process including trend analysis which includes but not limited to monthly, quarter and year to date results to plan; monthly, quarterly and year to date year over year analysis, sequential quarter analysis, board operations books Provides strategic and annual cash flow analysis and projections. Monitors and reports on KPI’s. Provides analysis and recommendations for profit, ROIC and working capital improvements. Directs the Company’s OLAP process Provides in depth analysis on key financial external drivers Provide in depth analysis of key operational drivers Directs peer analysis Prepares Board presentations, Board operational books, and other reviews as requested Ad-hoc analysis Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Education and Qualifications: 10 years of progressive Financial Analysis leadership experience Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. Master's degree in a related field is a plus Progressive experience supporting a the FP&A function in a Global Manufacturing Company Excellent Senior Stakeholder Management Skills
