Director of Digital Performance Marketing The Director will apply deep understanding, expertise, and leadership in strategizing and managing the continuous improvement of digital marketing, product marketing and growth marketing. The Director will lead a team focused on driving enrollment and revenue growth through data-informed strategies. Key areas of responsibility include Performance Marketing, Growth Strategy, Marketing Analytics, Product Marketing, CRM, and Consumer Insights, all aimed at enhancing the student experience and expanding reach in continuing education. Close collaboration with Academic departments, IT Services, International Programs, and Student Services is essential for maintaining a healthy and fully operational digital marketing presence, including reliable integration across UNEX systems such as Destiny, Marketing Cloud, and Salesforce.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop a team focused on enrollment and revenue growth through data-informed strategies in Performance Marketing, Growth Strategy, Marketing Analytics, Product Marketing, CRM, and Consumer Insights.
Collaborate with Academic departments, IT Services, International Programs, and Student Services to maintain a cohesive digital marketing presence and ensure integration across UNEX systems (Destiny, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce).
Drive ongoing optimization of digital marketing programs to improve enrollment, engagement, and outcomes.
Qualifications
5-10 years of experience in digital communications operations, complex marketing systems, and/or website management systems. (Required)
Highly collaborative hands-on team player with experience building cooperative relationships and a focus on problem resolution, efficient operations, and customer service. (Required)
Strong skills and experience managing a team of direct reports, including hiring, training, supervising, guiding, and evaluating staff. (Required)
Customer-focused with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude and prompt responsiveness. (Required)
Strong knowledge of current and emerging digital communications best practices, including governance frameworks and supporting processes. (Required)
Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to scope work, drive execution, and meet deadlines across multiple stakeholders. (Required)
Metrics-driven approach with strong analytical skills to identify actionable insights. (Required)
Experience creating and managing data visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Tableau) to monitor KPIs and support data-driven decisions. (Required)
Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals and ability to integrate with website architecture; proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Google Tag Manager. (Required)
Experience in developing online marketing/e-commerce sites with expertise in web strategy, production, site operations, UI/UX, and related functionalities. (Required)
Strategic thinker with knowledge of marketing, web content development, and emerging technologies; able to optimize the web for lead generation. (Required)
Experience executing integrated campaigns within Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including CRM data, automation tools, and customer journey mapping. (Required)
Knowledge of implementing and managing lead capture forms and data integration with CRM systems. (Required)
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related fields and/or an equivalent combination of education/training and experience. (Required)
