Position Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on, highly organized Director of Digital Initiatives to lead and expand our digital and data capabilities. This role is responsible for developing and executing a data strategy that integrates internal and external data sources to empower company-wide decision making. Reporting directly to senior leadership, this individual will manage a team of four and work cross-functionally to deliver standardized processes, actionable insights, and on-time, accurate reporting to the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and grow the digital initiatives team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
Build and maintain scalable data pipelines integrating internal and external data sources.
Develop and enforce standards and processes to ensure clean, consistent, and timely reporting across the organization.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Sales to identify data needs and deliver intuitive solutions.
Partner with senior leadership to create a comprehensive suite of KPIs and dashboards to drive business insights.
Drive a culture of data literacy and self-service analytics across the organization.
Stay current on evolving technologies such as Generative AI, predictive analytics, Power BI, and other BI tools, bringing innovation into practical use.
Translate complex analytical and technical concepts into easily understood business narratives for various audiences.
Manage and mentor both technical analysts and data managers.
Foster a “data center of excellence” that ensures the right data is delivered to the right teams at the right time.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in business, digital transformation, or analytics-related roles.
Proven success managing digital/data teams and driving enterprise-wide data initiatives.
Strong business acumen with deep understanding of KPIs, finance, consumer products, and operations.
Expertise in Power BI , predictive analytics , Generative AI , and prompt engineering.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to manage diverse analytical and operational talent.
A strategic thinker with a hands-on approach – willing to roll up sleeves and lead by example.
Highly self-motivated, intellectually curious, and results-driven.
