We're seeking a Director of Development to lead and expand AMIkids’ fundraising efforts, securing critical support through major gifts, corporate and foundation partnerships, special events, and donor engagement. You will develop and execute a strategic fundraising plan, build lasting donor relationships, and identify new funding opportunities. If you possess a proven track record in philanthropy, grant writing, and donor stewardship, with the ability to inspire investment in our mission, and our "WHY" resonates with you, you may have a place on our AMIkids team.

What you will be doing:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including major gifts, grants, and corporate partnerships.
  • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual, corporate, and foundation donors.
  • Lead donor prospecting efforts to expand AMIkids’ funding base.
  • Oversee fundraising events, ensuring financial and engagement goals are met.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate sponsors and grant-making organizations.
  • Manage a portfolio of major donors and implement strategies to increase individual giving.
  • Collaborate with leadership, board members, and program teams to align fundraising with organizational goals.
  • Represent AMIkids at donor meetings, networking events, and community engagements.
  • Provide reports on fundraising progress, trends, and opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred,
  • Five years of related work experience,

  • Exceptional relationship-building skills, with experience engaging donors, board members, and corporate partners,
  • Strong communication and storytelling ability, both written and verbal,
  • Effective oral and written communication,
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
  • Proficiency in Raiser’s Edge is preferred.
