As the Director of Data Governance, you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development and execution of enterprise-wide data governance. These are just some of the benefits we offer: Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with up to 4% company match Annual performance bonus based on level, as well as individual, company, and location performance Paid vacation days and holidays Paid parental bonding leave Tuition and/or professional certification reimbursement Generous friends-and-family discounts at many of our hotels and resorts Responsibilities Develop and lead the enterprise data governance strategy, aligning it with business goals and major transformation initiatives Promote data culture by championing data literacy, stewardship, and ethical data use across the organization Design and implement a comprehensive data governance framework, including policies, standards, and operating models for data quality and lifecycle management Oversee governance tools and processes, including the selection, adoption, and tracking of data domains, lineage, and systems of record Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, leading the Enterprise Data Governance Council and partnering with Legal, Risk, Compliance, and IT teams Provide expert consultation to senior leadership and project teams, supporting regulatory compliance, transformation initiatives, and continuous improvement Qualifications High degree of expertise in data governance, master data management, and data lifecycle techniques Experience with data management, modeling, architecture Implement and maintain data monitoring and quality standards using governance tools across metadata, lineage, and stewardship Apply knowledge of data architecture and platforms to support scalable and compliant data environments Support ERP implementations such as SAP, Oracle, and Workday, from a data governance perspective, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards Hold relevant certifications such as CDMP, PMP, Prosci, or ERP-specific credentials; preferred but not required
