Industry Telecommunications Type Privately Held About the Role The organization is seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Cybersecurity to lead and enhance its information security initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive security strategy to protect our digital assets, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support the ongoing growth of the organization. Your core responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing an enterprise-wide information security strategy Conducting regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities Overseeing security operations such as monitoring, threat intelligence, and incident response Managing vendor security risk and promoting a culture of security awareness across the company Staying informed about emerging threats to recommend modern security tools and technologies The ideal candidate will have: A Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) At least 7 years of experience in telecommunications, broadband, or highly regulated IT environments A minimum of 5 years in a cybersecurity leadership role Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and strong knowledge of enterprise security architecture and operations Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CISM We are looking for someone with exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, capable of effectively reporting on the security program's performance to executive leadership.
