About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Director of Credit Risk and Forecasting to lead our team. This pivotal role involves providing robust oversight of financial risks, specifically focusing on credit risk. You will oversee the complete CECL allowance process, stress testing, and CCAR initiatives, contributing to our mission of becoming a fully digital bank that understands and meets customer needs.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong quantitative and analytical background with at least 12 years of experience in credit risk management and financial forecasting. You should excel in designing and conducting stress tests and possess a thorough understanding of the macroeconomic environment. Leadership skills are essential, as you will manage a team while fostering a strong culture of risk management and compliance.
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitatively-based field is required, while an advanced degree or professional certification (such as CFA or FRM) is highly regarded. We seek a self-motivated, hands-on leader with a proven track record in credit forecasting, including CECL reserving and managing loss provisions through various economic conditions.
Your role will involve effective communication with senior management, the Board of Directors, and global stakeholders, making strong interpersonal skills vital. As a strategic thinker, you will influence corporate policy and frameworks, supported by your comprehensive knowledge of commercial and retail banking lending products.
We value high energy, drive, and integrity, and are looking for an individual who can mentor and develop a talented team of professionals.
