The Director of Contents & Cleaning will lead and grow ESS’s CNC division, ensuring seamless coordination of content pack-out, restoration, storage, and final delivery services. This hands-on leader will mentor a specialized team, oversee operations, and champion ESS’s high-touch, client-first ethos. Responsibilities:
Division Leadership & Strategy
• Develop and execute the strategic vision for CNC services, aligning with ESS’s mission and growth goals. • Foster a culture of quality, integrity, and eco-friendly practices in line with ESS core values.
Operations Management
• Oversee all aspects of content restoration and cleaning workflows: pack-outs, inventory, cleaning, storage, odor elimination, and returns. • Ensure compliance with IICRC S500 standards and maintain IICRC certifications within the team. • Implement best practices in art/document recovery, textile restoration, and specialized cleaning protocols.
Team Development & Oversight
• Lead a dedicated CNC team (pack-out technicians, warehouse staff, cleaning specialists). • Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations; recruit new talent to meet service demand.
Client & Insurance Advocacy
• Serve as primary CNC liaison for clients, adjusters, and insurance carriers—advocating for full contents coverage and appeals if needed. • Collaborate with ESS’s insurance advocacy experts to maximize claim recoveries.
Quality Assurance & Safety
• Conduct regular audits of CNC projects to ensure adherence to safety protocols, eco-friendly waste management, and client satisfaction. • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including turnaround times, salvage rates, and customer feedback.
Financial Management
• Manage the CNC division budget, including forecasting revenue, controlling costs, and optimizing resource utilization. • Develop departmental pricing models and cost-benefit analyses for new service offerings. Qualifications:
Experience:
• Minimum 5-7 years in restoration contents management or related field, with progressive leadership experience. • Proven track record managing IICRC-certified teams and handling large-loss contents projects.
Certifications:
• IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT), Contents Processing Technician (CPT) requested. Additional IICRC credentials (FSRT, AMRT) a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
• Strong organizational and project-management skills; ability to juggle multiple large-loss projects simultaneously. • Excellent interpersonal and client-service orientation; adept at negotiating with insurance carriers. • Familiarity with Encircle (or similar) for contents inventory and claim documentation.
