JOB SUMMARY: The Director of Content is a senior role within the NDM Hospitality in-house creative team who will lead content strategy. Reporting to the CMO, this position is instrumental in delivering content that is engaging, meet KPI's, metrics, and drive revenue through content. Creative visionary, collaboration skills, and the ability to understand and work with stakeholder is key. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and oversee content strategy for email, B2C/B2B websites, mobile app, and marketing materials. Partner with leadership and other team members to develop efficient processes to optimize content development and editorial efforts. Manage editorial calendar and partner with agencies to ensure that content is consistently delivered across all channels. Serve as subject matter expert and advise on content strategies to leadership team. Lead all content strategy campaigns with high motivation and ambition. Develop templates, guides and tools that the design team will leverage to produce consistent and meaningful deliverables. Conduct research to better understand brand objectives, target markets, and industry trends. Hire, train, and supervise design staff. Review and approval of artwork. Communicate and collaborate on feedback during the execution of the creative process. Maintain best practices and brand standards in production, productivity, quality, and customer service. Collaborate with creatives, team members, freelancers, and leadership to create visual elements for client work. Coordinate resources with other departments to create a cohesive, effective campaign. Establishing budgets and timelines, delivering the finished campaign within those parameters. REQUIREMENTS Competencies, skills, attributes, experience, licenses, certifications, required) Bachelor's degree in graphic design, marketing, or related field (BFA/MFA is a plus). Prior experience holding an art director role within an advertising agency, production studio or agency. Experience in art direction and design with portfolio of work to show. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud with a focus on Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop required. Strong Interpersonal, time and project management, presentation, leadership, and communication skills. Creativity and ability to delegate responsibilities. Receptiveness to feedback and adaptability. PREFERRED competencies & qualifications: Hospitality, Agency experience a plus
