This role focuses on meaningful conversations, community building, and shaping the future of education. Position location: Remote with campus-based activities in multiple cities. Where you will work Scottsdale, AZ San Francisco or Santa Barbara, CA Palm Beach, FL New York City, NY Austin, TX What You Will Be Doing Masterfully orchestrate the complete enrollment journey at your campus — from initial curiosity to secured waitlist position Create and deliver captivating information sessions that convert interested parents into Alpha advocates Be the face of Alpha in your community through active participation in local events and relationship building Strategically develop alliances with community leaders and organizations to amplify Alpha's presence Provide valuable intelligence on community pulse, conversion metrics, and strategic growth opportunities What You Won’t Be Doing Following cookie-cutter sales playbooks or impersonal outreach strategies Compromising Alpha's educational standards to boost enrollment numbers Taking a hands-off approach to community relationships Managing enrollment from the office — this role requires active community presence Director Of Community Engagement – Key Responsibilities Your primary mission: Build and maintain a robust waitlist of 150+ students through strategic community engagement and ongoing commitment to Alpha's educational vision. Basic Requirements Geographic requirement: Must be based near one of our campus locations (Scottsdale, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, Palm Beach, NYC, or Austin) Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Experience: 5+ years working with families in educational settings, enrollment management, or community outreach Communication: Outstanding verbal and written abilities that inspire trust and action Leadership: Demonstrated success in guiding families through complex decision-making processes Vision alignment: Strong conviction in Alpha's innovative, results-driven educational approach About Alpha Alpha School is on a mission to reshape education with a bold approach that harnesses AI to accelerate learning and unleash student potential. Alpha aims to create a new paradigm where students master core academics in just two hours a day, freeing up time for hands-on, passion-driven learning. Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
