Director of Commercial Sales (Remote) This exciting role will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, expanding the customer base for the company’s solar products, and building a successful Commercial and Industrial (C&I) sales division. A solid understanding of developing sales strategies and procedures to drive revenue growth within the US C&I and light Utility industries will be needed to be successful in this role. The company is headquartered in the Fort Mill, SC area. It is a leading designer and manufacturer of solar cells and PV modules for the renewable energy industry. Responsibilities : Lead strategy and sales execution for U.S. C&I and light utility solar projects. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solar solutions. Grow customer relationships and develop new market opportunities. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to launch new products and promotional campaigns effectively. Analyze and report sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to make data-driven decisions and enhance sales strategies. Prepare sales forecasts and budget reports to track performance and align financial goals. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to showcase the company’s solar products and build industry connections. Qualifications : A bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Legal, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred. 5+ years of experience in US C&I or Utility projects or a senior sales role, preferably in the solar or renewable energy industry, is required. An extensive network of US solar industry contacts is preferred. Experience in selling, developing, and managing US commercial solar projects. Proven success in meeting revenue targets and building customer networks. Strong understanding of solar technologies and contracts within the US C&I industry. Goal-oriented, adaptive, collaborative. Skilled in negotiation, forecasting, and relationship management. Salary Range : $140,000-$150,000 base salary per year, with potential for commissions and bonuses.
