We are seeking an experienced Director of Clinical Services in Adult Medicine to join our team located in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing a comprehensive healthcare service delivery to adult patients, particularly underserved communities with complex needs. The selected candidate will lead clinical operations, ensuring the provision of efficient, high-quality patient care while aligning with strategic goals. Salary: $250,000 - $300,000 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide visionary leadership and direction to the medical staff for improving clinical operations and service delivery.
Drive the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing professional development of medical and allied health staff.
Ensure adherence to internal protocols and external regulatory compliance related to healthcare services.
Develop and maintain robust relationships with all stakeholders including patients, communities, and external partners for collaborative healthcare enhancements.
Champion a culture of continuous improvement, keen teamwork, and exemplary clinical performance.
Foster interdepartmental collaborations to support broad organizational goals and patient care objectives.
Guide the implementation and effective use of electronic health records and data systems to enhance care delivery and operational efficiency.
Lead initiatives for quality assurance and patient safety within the clinical settings.
Minimum Position Qualifications: Medical Degree from an accredited institution.
Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Proven experience in a leadership role within a healthcare setting, preferably within a large health center or private practice.
Demonstrated competence in supervising advanced practitioners and other clinical staff.
Strongly familiar with healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at relationship building and stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications: Active Physician License in the state of Connecticut (preferred but not required).
Business management experience in a healthcare environment.
Experience shaping strategic clinical goals and actively participating in executive-level projects.
Qualifications in healthcare management or related fields.
Skills: Expertise in using electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.
Strong analytical skills and adept at data-driven decision-making.
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse clinical team.
