Job Summary:
Aspire Physical Recovery Center of Hoover is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Clinical Services to lead and oversee all clinical operations. The Director of Clinical Services will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a collaborative and efficient clinical environment. This role requires a strong leader with exceptional clinical expertise, management skills, and a passion for rehabilitation.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for all clinical departments, including nursing, therapy, and ancillary services.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care that meets or exceeds regulatory standards.
Develop, implement, and evaluate clinical policies, procedures, and protocols.
Monitor clinical performance and outcomes, implementing quality improvement initiatives as needed.
Manage clinical staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluation.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
Oversee the development and implementation of individualized patient care plans.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including Joint Commission standards.
Manage the clinical budget and resources effectively.
Serve as a liaison between clinical staff, administration, and other departments.
Promote a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Participate in strategic planning and development initiatives.
Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with a current, active Alabama license required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related healthcare field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation or acute care setting or LTACH
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
Strong knowledge of rehabilitation principles, practices, and regulations.
Excellent clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Knowledge of Joint Commission standards and survey processes.
Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical software.
Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) certification preferred.
