Our portfolio includes a wide array of reputable brands like Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt as well as many unique, independent, boutique and lifestyle properties and restaurants.Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesManage all aspects of Corporate Negotiated Account , Luxury and Leisure Consortia and Consortia Marketing.Utilize Agency 360 and Zoom Info for market research and account targetingConsortia and TMC agent event and familiarization toursUtilize and lead Consortia Marketing effortsConduct Consortia Agency training and participate in all related TradeshowsGrow DC Local Account PortfolioUpdate seasonal offers for Consortia agents and Local Accounts during low season datesSeek out and facilitate Corporate Negotiated RFPs and conduct a detailed rate review process during RFP seasonParticipate in GBTA and affiliate events through out the yearEstablish internal promotions to maximize account productionDrive customer loyalty in order to grow share of the account by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experienceManage business travel accounts to maximize business potentialEnsure all pertinent aspects of solicitation, closing, and customer communications are complete and documented maintain existing accounts with active trace/follow up systemIdentifies and solicits new accounts from telemarketing, appointments, site tours, cold calls, and inquiries via email, phone, and in person interactionsDevelops, maintains, and prospects a Target List of accounts and communicates updates to DOSMAttends property specific receptions to generate leads and interact with customersOrganize and execute local area blitzesEstablishes relationships with local businesses and organizations and is an active member in local industry associationsBuilds relationships with competitors in like roles to keep apprised of trends in the market and industry, and supply changesConsistently meet or exceed sales goals including predetermined revenue and sales activityOther duties as assignedEducation And ExperienceHigh School Diploma/GED. Bachelor's Degree preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience in a Hospitality Business Travel role.Business Travel experience within an independent hotel environmentEstablished relationships with key Corporate Negotiated Accounts and Luxury and Leisure ConsortiaKnowledge, Skills And AbilitiesAdvanced experience with Agency 360, Cvent RFPs, and developing business cases for corporate RFPs.Strong knowledge of the Washington, D.C. market, including local accounts and competitive landscapeStrong analytical skills relative to impact on hotel revenuesAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingStrong understanding of revenue management principlesAbility to use reservation and revenue management systems to develop pricing and sales recommendationsExperience with Delphi.fdc preferredThe hiring process may consist of a phone interview, manager(s) interview, drug screen, background check, reference checks, and potential employment assessment.
