Hilltop Residential is seeking a highly motivated Director of Business Development - Texas . As we expand our third-party management services, we are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven leader to grow our portfolio through new client acquisition and industry partnerships.
The Director of Business Development - Texas will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new third-party management contracts. This role focuses on building relationships with property owners, developers, lenders, and institutional investors to expand our management footprint. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of multifamily real estate, experience in client acquisition, and a proven ability to convert leads into long-term partnerships.

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a business development strategy for growth.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking and industry research.
Manage lead generation, proposals, negotiations, and onboarding.
Build and maintain relationships within the multifamily community.
Collaborate with internal teams to align goals and deliver presentations.
Represent Hilltop at industry events to increase brand awareness.
Track and report on business development metrics.
Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or related field.
3–5 years in multifamily real estate, with at least 3 years in business development or client services.
Knowledge of industry operations and financial documents.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Experience with market research tools (RealPage, Entrata, Yardi) is a plus.
Willingness to travel regionally.
