As Senior Director of Business Development, you’ll play a key role in accelerating revenue growth through consultative selling, strategic client engagement, and deep cross-functional collaboration. You’ll represent a full suite of CDMO services, driving client solutions from early development through commercial production. What You’ll Be Doing: • Develop and execute strategic sales plans across the U.S. and international territories, aligned with technical capabilities in microbial, mammalian, and gene therapy. • Identify and secure new business opportunities, from lead generation to closing complex service agreements. • Build and nurture long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and technical partner. • Work closely with internal stakeholders (scientific, operational, quality, and proposal teams) to develop tailored, high-impact client solutions. • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings. • Conduct competitive and market analysis to drive territory-specific growth strategies. • Maintain CRM records and pipeline visibility to support forecasting and commercial reporting. What We’re Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences; advanced degree (MBA or scientific master’s) strongly preferred. • 5+ years of successful sales or business development experience in the biotech, CDMO, or life sciences services sector. • Deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle, including microbial, mammalian, and gene therapy manufacturing processes. • Proven track record of managing a technical sales cycle with multiple stakeholders. • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. • Strong strategic thinking with attention to detail and execution. • Experience using CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office suite.
