Director of Behavioral Health Service Line

The Director of Behavioral Health Service Line (Inpatient & AMG Outpatient services) will play a key leadership role in strategy/visioning, directing, and day-to-day operations of the service line activities and resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives & goals. Additionally, will lead in execution of development & sustaining provider relationships, program development/access, patient and referral source satisfaction, and budget preparation/profitability. The Director of Behavioral Health Service Line will integrate with the organization’s operations, participate in performance improvement activities, and ensure professional and regulatory compliance is achieved in all areas of responsibility. Responsible & available within respective area for the total number of hours that the unit is operational. Additionally, this position is part of the greater nursing division leadership team and will need to be an active member of that team and work toward the success of respective department as well as the greater organization. This position will have a dotted line to AMG leadership.
Education: Masters Degree in Nursing is Required
Licensure/Certification: Current and valid Registered nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or from a state that is part of a Compact agreement with Virginia or can be licensed.
Experience: 3+ years nursing management/ leadership experience in behavioral health services.
