Manage EssilorLuxottica Eye Care activities to develop and retain affiliated Doctors of Optometry (OD) across Luxottica Retail Optical Brands. Create an environment that promotes retention, reinforces the Luxottica Eye Care Doctor employer brand and positions EssilorLuxottica as the premiere affiliation of choice for optometrists.
Doctor engagement builds strong, collaborative partnerships between EssilorLuxottica-affiliated doctors and our retail brands. This role serves as a strategic partner to brands’ leadership, driving initiatives that improve communication, support doctor education, recognize doctor contributions, and increase overall doctor satisfaction with their EssilorLuxottica partnership. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Create and execute engagement and development strategies aligned with business and brand objectives
Lead, design, execute and measure of OD engagement, development and retention programs
Own the OD engagement roadmap and calendar
Gain OD feedback through focus groups, surveys, one-on-one interviews, and other methodology; apply the data to support strategic decisions and action plans
Travel as required to oversee and execute events with excellence.
Collaborate cross-functionality among the Eye Care, retail optical, training and development teams, and the EssilorLuxottica Doctor community
Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors
Manage dashboards and tracking OD engagement initiatives, analyzing results and recommending improvements
Advise Eye Care leadership on OD perspectives, trends, and best practices
Manage budget and forecasting for affiliated OD engagement programs Additional responsibilities include: Communication: Lead doctor-focused calls, support Eye Care COE and brand doctor communications
Clinical & Business Excellence: Execute Connect to Grow and other education events (live and virtual), manage CE partnerships, and lead doctor workstreams for new product launches.
Recognition: Deliver doctor appreciation initiatives (week, holiday, seasonal) and highlight achievements.
Satisfaction: Act as liaison between doctors and retail brands, support Optometric Advisory Council (OAC) activities, manage OAC meetings and agendas, and partner with internal teams to address concerns. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Doctor of Optometry Degree
7+years’ experience in a related field or optical experience
Experience developing and deploying engagement strategies
Ability to work collaboratively cross functionally to achieve results
Excellent planning, project management and organizational skills
Ability to think strategically and creatively
Strong relationship building skills
Excellent communication skills – written, verbal, listening and presentation
Strong understanding of research and insights gathering methodologies PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Eye Care industry experience
Professional speaking experience Pay Range: 165,052.80 - 243,145.60
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package.
