Role Purpose To bring focus to sales and business development in North America (the US, Canada, and the Caribbean) : Develop new business growth of $20-25M through new business acquisitions. This role is required to deliver through the management of the North America customer base with particular reference to industrial sewing threads, FamCare, and military markets. Key Responsibilities Deliver business growth objectives in the Personal Protection and Industrials segments within the North America market. Prospect and secure new accounts in existing and adjacent end-use markets. Build and maintain multi-level strategic relationships with customers to position Coats as the supplier of choice. Lead product introduction initiatives, including non-FR military uniforms, to achieve defined growth targets. Expand Coats’ sewing thread market share in the Firefighter Services segment. Prepare and manage accurate sales forecasts to support business planning. Leverage Coats’ digital solutions (Dynamics, eCommerce, Teams, etc.) to optimize the sales process. Collaborate with Finance to support timely cash collections from assigned accounts. Demonstrate a growth-oriented, resilient, and proactive mindset to succeed in dynamic market conditions. Align with and complete required training on Coats’ Core Beliefs, Business Goals, and Compliance standards. Qualifications and Experience Minimum 10 years of sales or techno-commercial experience in the textile market. Proven experience in the supply and application of personal protection and industrial textile products. Strong track record of achieving sales targets and delivering on profit commitments. High energy, self-driven, with a strong achievement orientation. Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills; willingness to travel as required. Demonstrated ability to sell high-value performance materials by engaging with R&D, Engineering, and senior management teams within customer organisations.
