Compensation Range: $120300-$180400. Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location. Job Purpose
The Director National Accounts will develop and direct the national sales and service operations to meet or exceed the assigned goals for the geographic area and executing a cohesivesales growth strategy. This leader will be accountable to meet and exceed the agreed sales, bookings and profit objectives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Exercise discretion and independent judgment when handling critical organizational matter
Maintain a superior understanding of product lines, pricing structures, and price negotiation strategies
Lead staff in promoting products and building competitive market awareness through networking and analysis of competitor products and activities
Hire, retain, evaluate, and develop sales leaders and their representatives, including creating personal development plans for each business line sales leader
Collaborate effectively with manufacturing representatives and distributors
Drive and manage territory expansion initiatives
Create and implement sales processes and metrics to ensure continuous improvement and operational efficiency
Oversee direct selling activities, including identifying new customers and managing sales channels
Assist in the creation and execution of sales strategies to achieve organizational objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with established customers
Manage profit and loss responsibilities, including sales forecasting, margin tracking, DSO control, and cost management
Negotiate agreements and contracts with clients and partners
Communicate effectively across teams and departments to support business objectives
Establish and maintain productive internal and external relationships
Act strategically to support and align with organizational goals
Create and maintain professional networks to expand market presence
Perform other duties as assigned
Willingness and ability to travel extensively
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 8–10 years of experience in sales and management
Extensive sales experience with a demonstrated record of success
Strong ability to understand and explain technical and electrical systems
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
Proven leadership ability with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
High energy level and strong motivation to achieve results
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships Preferred Qualifications Technical background or education in engineering, electrical systems, or related field
Experience in the battery industry or energy storage sector This position includes supervisory responsibilities General Job Requirements
This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
Must be able and willing to work overtime.
Must be able and willing to be on-call.
