Role and Responsibilities
As the Director of Mobile B2B Carrier Strategy & Business Operations you will be responsible for the development, implementation and executive communication of strategies for our B2B Carrier sales teams. You will be expected to build and maintain long-term trusted relationships with our internal carrier sales teams, direct sales and support teams and executive leadership, as well as with external carrier sales teams and partners. You will be an integral part of the MX B2B Strategy team by conducting end-to-end research and generating insights/analysis to inform strategic playbooks and go to market strategies for Samsung's B2B Carrier Sales teamsThe product portfolio will include Mobile Phones, Tablets, PC's, and Wearables.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Develop clear strategies and action plans (e.g., Yearly, Quarterly strategy reviews, tactical recommendations) backed by data analysis to drive market share, sales and profitability for all Samsung B2B Carrier Sales Teams (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Strategic Accounts).
Build Competitive strategy: collect and analyze intelligence from publicly available and proprietary sources to inform and affect Samsung Carrier B2B strategy. Quickly react to a changing market landscape that gains consensus from B2B, VP/GMs, and B2C Sales leadership.
Identify and analyze the most critical trends, threats, disrupters and opportunities that our business will face, and map out recommendations for how to counter.
Collaborate across cross-functional team leadership to gain alignment on the strategy and oversee/manage implementation.
Develop presentations to support executive meetings and workshops across all levels of the organization. Support operational and business performance reviews.
Lead quarterly business reviews that focus on performance and actionable outcomes to improve the business, maximize revenue, and deliver strong profitable results.
Act as the liaison between B2B Direct Sales Teams and Samsung Carrier B2B Sales teams with the aim to increase ENT and Gov account sales and create synergies between these 2 orgs.
Background/Experience:
Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred
12+ years of experience building winning U.S. strategies in tech with an understanding of B2B sales channels, business planning and marketing in a mobility-related business or similar, and in devices, service provision, or other related technologies.
Experience in establishing relationships and working at the "C-level". Executive "gravitas" and presence to maintain long-term trusted relationships at this level is required.
Proven experience in achieving results in defined timeframes with ambitious objectives.
Necessary Skills & Attributes:
Demonstrated skills to interact with executives at all levels within large organizations.
Negotiation and influencing skills with customers, internal peers, staff members, and vendors to approve plans and project recommendations.
Ability to quickly absorb, internalize, syndicate and synthesize critical insights that help develop business situation analysis, formulate potential solution paths, and gain consensus to execute and implement strategic decisions.
Ability to develop sales and business objectives, make decisions, and influence team direction.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
Advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge and skills is required.
