Director, Member & Foundation Relations – $100K-$110K – DC

Responsibilities
: Develop strategic plans and initiatives to grow the membership base, increase engagement, and encourage member renewals. Collaborate with executive leadership to outline revenue goals and strategic objectives. Identify, cultivate, and steward important relationships with institutional members, funders, and philanthropists. Support event programs through creating sponsorships opportunities, tracking revenue, and monitoring benefit delivery. Prepare internal and external communications, contributing to presentations, newsletters, and proposals. Manage different grants processes including: securing grant funding, preparing proposals, and handling grant administration. Review and track monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Utilize and maintain member information and reports within Salesforce. Additional organizational and member-focused responsibilities. Qualifications: 10+ years of progressive development experience (fundraising, membership recruitment, grant management) is required. A bachelors degree is preferred, but not required. Proficient fully utilizing a CRM, Salesforce experience is preferred. Strong written communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service attitude.
