As the Director of Nursing (DON) for the Medical-Surgical Unit (MSU) and Intermediate Intensive Care Unit (IICU), you’ll play a key leadership role in directing, coordinating, and evaluating the delivery of high-quality patient care. You’ll oversee the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures, manage and support an experienced team of nursing staff, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

Leadership & Strategy Play a vital role in shaping the future of our nursing services by contributing to the development and implementation of the organization’s strategic goals.
Participate in the budgeting process for the MSU/IICU and help ensure responsible financial stewardship by monitoring departmental expenses. Nursing Operations & Quality of Care Develop, implement, and continually evaluate nursing policies and procedures that reflect best practices and meet current regulatory standards.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care by regularly monitoring and assessing nursing services and making improvements as needed.
Oversee accurate documentation and reporting related to nursing care, ensuring compliance and continuity. Staff Management & Development Lead, inspire, and support a team of dedicated nursing professionals through effective hiring, training, and performance management.
Partner with the Clinical Educator Coordinator and Clinical Lead to implement impactful education and training programs that foster staff competency and growth.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and respectful work environment where staff feel valued and empowered. Regulatory Compliance Ensure full compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards of nursing practice—protecting patients, staff, and the integrity of the organization. Master's degree in nursing or currently enrolled to complete within 1 year of accepting position
Current NH Nursing License Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years of management experience Knowledge of current nursing practices and standards, as well as regulatory requirements Knowledge of current nursing practices and standards, as well as regulatory requirements Working Hours:
Normal working schedule is M-F. Director has 24 hour accountability for the unit. Salary:
