Job Description:
Lead omnichannel, performance-driven media strategy for enterprise-level clients, guiding full-funnel planning while managing and developing media strategists.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Develop custom, full-funnel omnichannel media strategies aligned to client goals.

  • Partner cross-functionally with analytics, data science, buying, paid social, paid search, and creative teams.

  • Drive performance marketing initiatives across search, programmatic, social, and traditional channels.

  • Present calm, strategic, reasoned recommendations to senior client stakeholders.

  • Solve efficiency and scale challenges across upper- and lower-funnel campaigns.

  • Manage, train, and lead 2 media strategists.

  • Support one primary enterprise client and 1–2 smaller clients.

  • Operate in a hands-on role while leading others in execution.

  • Translate deeper client business objectives (sales, leads, revenue outcomes) into media plans.

  • Work in an entrepreneurial, high-ownership, fast-moving environment.

Requirements:

  • Must-Haves:

    • 2 years at the Director level within a media/advertising agency.

    • Enterprise client experience with $20M budgets.

    • Strong performance marketing background across search, programmatic, and paid social.

    • Ability to optimize to complex, nuanced KPIs beyond impressions.

    • Experience developing full-funnel media strategies (upper and lower funnel).

    • Omnichannel expertise across Meta, Amazon, Google, TV/traditional, etc.

    • Experience managing and mentoring team members.

    • Strong cross-functional collaboration with analytics, media, and data science teams.

    • Executive-level client communication skills; ability to advise CMOs/enterprise stakeholders.

    • Deep curiosity and fluency in emerging tech and the evolving media landscape.

    • Work authorization: USC/GC.

  • Nice-to-Haves:

    • Buying background in programmatic or paid social/search.

    • Experience at top agencies (e.g., similar to large performance or full-service agencies).

    • Prior entrepreneurial experience—built or ran a team, practice, or agency.

    • Vertical-specific strategy experience.
