Director, Media Operations - Experienced Trade Press Media Group is a dynamic B2B media company. We are seeking an experienced and solutions-oriented Director of Media Operations. A steadfast leader that is both knowledgeable about digital development, products and innovations and a visionary with the B2B Operations. This role will be responsible for the adoption of next generation solutions and applications working cross matrix with senior department leaders. This is a full-time, hybrid position in Milwaukee, WI that reports directly to the CEO. Compensation: $120,000 to $160,000 = total compensation package (base salary and bonus options) based on experience and qualifications. Support employee development through regular coaching, training, and goal-setting. Evaluate team structure and processes to improve efficiency and output quality. Digital & Print Media Execution Oversee day-to-day workflows and deadlines for 4 markets consisting of 7 magazines, e-newsletters, websites, webcasts, digital campaigns, and client deliverables. Work with markets to drive revenue and customer ROI for digital products Use AI adoption to create department efficiencies Assist in pricing determination, cost and competitive analysis Ensure best practices in quality control, legal compliance, and brand consistency. Oversee asset delivery, ad trafficking, and coordination with clients and vendors. Workflow, Tools & Systems Architect, integrate, and maintain platforms such as CMS, ad management, project management, and reporting systems. Streamline workflows using automation and AI-powered tools. Partner with IT and corporate teams to oversee usage and adoption of crm/cdp Cross-Functional Support Serve as the operational engine for media kits, rate cards, event assets, and marketing campaigns. Collaborate with marketing, content, and events teams to ensure timely and high-quality execution. Support departments with advancements and technological advancements Oversee vendor relationships for production, print, and digital tools. Manage departmental budgets, negotiate service contracts, and assess ROI of tools and platforms. Education/guidance related to print vendors, CMS, Project Managment, Ad Management/Delivery, Metrics/Reporting, Digital Engagement Qualifications 7+ years in media production or operations leadership, ideally within a B2B media or publishing environment. Proven experience managing cross-functional creative and production teams. Strong project management and systems implementation skills. Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Omeda, AdOrbit, CMS platforms, and workflow/project management tools. Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
