Director of Sales – Marketplace Services Division Oversee our US Account Development teams and transform this sales organization into high‑performing units that drive top‑line revenue growth through the acquisition and conversion of new business accounts. As an inspiring and results‑driven leader, you will mix hands‑on execution with executive vision shaping, leveraging data and trends to identify sales opportunities that align with company objectives and create deep customer value. Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Drive the sales strategy, setting clear goals and KPIs to achieve revenue targets. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Process Enhancement: Continuously optimize the sales process to ensure efficiency and exceptional customer experiences. Lead Generation: Partner with the Marketing Acquisition team to develop and implement strategies for generating inbound leads through various channels, such as Xometry online platforms and referrals. Conversion Optimization: Analyze sales funnel metrics to identify bottlenecks and opportunities, taking proactive measures to improve conversion rates. Customer Insights: Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to provide valuable insights for product development and marketing campaigns. Reporting: Provide regular reports to the leadership team, highlighting sales performance, trends, and areas for improvement. Conversion Strategy Development: Design comprehensive conversion strategies that transform leads into new customer acquisitions, aligning with overall marketing objectives. Competitor Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and conduct regular competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities, developing strategies to maintain a competitive edge. Qualifications Minimum of 10+ years in technology sales management with multi‑level selling and a demonstrated consistent record of overachievement. Experience realigning sales teams to focus on account strategy and rapid growth. Excellent communication skills and cross‑functional collaboration with Marketing, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams. Ability to make informed, educated, and timely decisions under pressure. Proven experience in improving and implementing processes. Travel within the continental US of less than 30% required. Required to work onsite in our office 3 days a week. Preferred Experience & Background Prior experience working at a high‑growth company. Experience in distributive manufacturing, technology, or service industry. Undergraduate degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical field. Recruited, built teams, and have a strong network of sales professionals.
