Overview We are seeking a strategic and operationally-minded Director, Marketing Operations to lead a high-performing team responsible for powering modern marketing and retail media execution at scale. This role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, process innovation, and platform enablement across marketing and retail media functions at Best Buy. At the core, the Marketing Operations team strives to be the trusted operational partner that empowers marketing and retail media teams to execute both high-velocity and high-impact campaigns with efficiency, consistency, and confidence. By simplifying workflows, improving tools and training, and fostering strong cross-functional collaboration, you\'ll accelerate speed to market and fuel innovation across teams. This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at our Best Buy Corporate Campus in Richfield, Minnesota, and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. What you\'ll do Lead & Develop Team: Manage and grow a team of Marketing Operations professionals. Focus on coaching, skill development, and team performance. Foster Collaboration: Identify interdependencies across teams, tools, and processes to drive alignment and deliver on business objectives. Campaign Enablement & Execution Support: Lead the development and continuous improvement of campaign workflows, intake processes and execution guidelines. Provide structure, process and standardized templates for campaign execution across channels. Partner with Product Management to drive integration of processes and tools that enable scale, agility and efficiency. Process Design & Executional Governance: Create and manage playbooks and SOPs that support repeatable and custom marketing efforts. Ensure alignment on compliance and legal through operational governance. Training, Communication and User Support: Lead training and communication for process and tool updates. Maintain internal documentation hubs (FAQs, quick guides, and process overviews). Serve as the go-to resource for operational guidance and troubleshooting. Tool & Platform Enablement (in partnership with DAT / Product): Partner with DAT / Product teams to ensure marketing tools meet user needs. Gather and analyze user feedback to guide iterative improvements and enhancements. Support tool rollouts with documentation, training and change management. Oversee training and documentation related to platform rollouts and enhancements. Translate business needs into actionable requests for product teams.
Qualifications Basic qualifications 10+ years in marketing or operations role. 5+ years of leadership experience with direct or indirect reports Experience in executing both high impact and high velocity campaigns
Preferred qualifications Creative agency, retail media network, or marketing experience at a matrixed organization Salesforce Media Cloud and / or Workfront experience Bachelor\'s Degree
