The Director of Operations is responsible for enhancing operational effectiveness, patient care, and ensuring alignment with overall market strategy. They will drive initiatives to improve patient outcomes, manage people effectively, and reduce the cost of care. The Director of Operations will coordinate all operational functions across clinical and non-clinical teams, ensuring daily activities align with Arkos Health's goals while maintaining compliance with regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Standardize processes to meet KPIs and improve efficiency.
Guide and manage team members to execute workflows effectively.
Align market activities with organizational goals and contractual obligations, including health assessments, HCC gap closure, utilization management, readmission reduction, quality improvement, and SDoH interventions.
Analyze data and KPIs related to cost, utilization, STAR/HEDIS scores, and engagement, then implement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Collaborate to close quality gaps and improve key market metrics such as HEDIS and STAR ratings.
Support and mentor team members with resources and tools for efficiency.
Work with the Quality Assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Perform additional duties as needed to support organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years in healthcare or operations management.
Experience in population health or value-based healthcare.
Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, ACOs, CMS quality measures, and provider management.
Proven experience managing external relationships with providers and clients.
Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills; fluent in English.
Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, and proprietary software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
