Position Overview We are seeking a mid‑to senior level Salesperson with a strong background in communication technologies to join our dynamic team and directly support the Chief Revenue Officer. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of sales experience, particularly within telecom network management or related sector. Responsibilities include building a meaningful and quantifiable pipeline, opening high‑level conversations, qualifying opportunities, identifying the decision makers, and closing the deal in a timely manner. This position requires meeting annual sales revenue targets and an understanding of how to execute long‑term growth goals. The ideal candidate will know the competitive landscape of the industry as well as bring experience and contacts into potential clients right for defined target markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting MSP’s, ISP’s and OEM’s that service enterprises predominantly in mobile and remote locations.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across enterprise, mid‑market, and SMB sectors.
Build and nurture strong relationships with C‑level executives and decision‑makers to position Kognitive's solutions as indispensable to their operations.
Be a self‑starter and drive the entire sales cycle, from lead generation and prospecting to negotiation, contract signing, and post‑sale engagement.
Build strong relationships to nurture and grow the account with effective account management.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (marketing, product, and engineering) to tailor solutions that address customer needs and market trends.
Achieve and exceed sales targets, providing regular forecasts and pipeline updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Technology, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
10+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in selling to enterprises in the SD‑WAN, SASE, or ZTN domains.
Understanding and knowledge of mobile and rural connectivity landscape for North America.
Experience selling to MSPs, ISPs, MVNOs, Tier 1 and 2 MNOs.
Prior experience in selling Software as a Service (SaaS).
In‑depth knowledge of software‑defined networking, cloud security, and zero trust principles.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a data‑driven approach to decision‑making.
A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for exceeding targets and delivering results.
