JOB SUMMARY The Director, Planned Maintenance and Shipboard Technical Inventory NCL leads the strategic oversight and continuous improvement of NCL's shipboard technical maintenance and inventory systems. This position is responsible for ensuring optimal asset performance, regulatory compliance, and inventory integrity across the fleet. The role provides technical leadership and collaborates cross-functionally with Marine Operations, Technical Operations, and Supply Chain to drive operational excellence through the AMOS system and other key platforms. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain the preventive maintenance programs in the NCL Planned Maintenance System to maintain equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Maintain the technical inventory for all NCL vessels in the NCL Inventory System to ensure data integrity and accurate stock levels.\ Ensure all inventory and maintenance meet the Company Standards and Class requirements. Develop and implement new maintenance programs. Supervise team that consists of Specialist, Trainers and Fleet Storekeepers. Perform routine inspections onboard NCL vessels to audit inventory and maintenance processes. Lead, mentor, and evaluate maintenance and inventory staff to ensure performance standards are met. Collaborate with other departments, such as Technical Operations, Marine Operations and Supply Chain to further optimize inventory processes and maintenance schedules. Prepare and present detailed reports on maintenance and inventory metrics to upper management. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations. QUALIFICATIONS DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field EXPERIENCE Minimum 8 years of experience in maritime technical operations, shipboard maintenance, or asset management, including 4+ years in a leadership capacity. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with a Planned Maintenance System (preferably AMOS). Experience managing distributed technical teams and collaborating across international maritime operations. Proven success leading initiatives with significant operational and financial impact.
