The Director of Learning & Development will lead the design, implementation, and management of training and learning solutions for team members across RubinBrown. This role is pivotal in advancing the firm’s vision, values, and inspiring team members to Be Their Best for Others .
By fostering collaborative relationships, engaging key stakeholders, and driving innovative learning strategies, the Director will shape a culture of continuous growth and development. This position requires strong communication and influence skills, with the ability to navigate complex learning needs across all levels of the organization.
Transform and Enhance Learning Culture
Champion a firm-wide learning culture that empowers team members to grow, learn, and lead.
Align learning initiatives with RubinBrown’s strategic goals and leadership philosophy.
Program Development & Delivery
Develop and execute a cohesive learning and development strategy that supports firm growth.
Conduct regular needs assessments across service lines to prioritize training initiatives.
Design and deliver soft skills and leadership development programs tailored to all career levels.
Oversee high-quality in-house training programs and ensure relevance and impact.
Identify and manage partnerships with external training providers to enhance offerings.
Collaborate with senior leadership, HR, and service unit leaders to align learning with business needs.
Stay current with industry trends and introduce innovative learning solutions.
Operational Excellence
Oversee and optimize the firm’s Learning Management System (LMS).
Collect and analyze feedback to continuously improve learning programs.
Ensure compliance with continuing professional education (CPE) standards and other regulatory requirements.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Learning & Development team to achieve departmental goals.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Qualifications Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in learning and development.
Experience designing and delivering training for professional services; public accounting experience preferred.
Preferred public accounting experience with knowledge in NASBA requirements.
Deep understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design.
Proficiency in LMS administration and learning technologies.
Strong communication and presentation skills across diverse audiences.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated success in building a learning culture and driving engagement.
