Hitachi Energy Transformers - Business Solutions IT Organization is seeking a North America HUB IT Service Delivery Manager. The role will be based at our North America HQ in Raleigh, NC, overseeing multiple factories and offices across the USA, Canada, and Mexico for end-to-end IT service delivery.
This position is responsible for the overall North America IT contribution and value to the business, translating business goals into the IT landscape and ensuring effective implementation in partnership with the Functional/North America organization. You will support the development, communication, and compliance of IT strategies to maximize efficiency for North America/Factory IT and Business processes.
Job Role Overview:
As Director - IT Service Delivery North America, you will develop, implement, and execute IT delivery capabilities within your region to plan, build, run, or support IT solutions across multiple sites. You will interface with the business, consulting with North America Business Unit leads, IT stakeholders, and application owners on IT-related topics. This is a stakeholder-facing role requiring management of expectations and leadership of a multinational team of managers and IT specialists, providing IT solutions/services to your region and supporting global IT projects.
Your Responsibilities
Lead a multinational team providing IT solutions/services to your region and support global IT projects.
Implement the global standard IT operating model, oversee service and project delivery, and incorporate the business voice into the operating model.
Manage the organizational entity responsible for delivering IT services, solutions, and activities in North America.
Ensure end-to-end IT service delivery, including onsite services, cybersecurity, business applications, infrastructure, operational management, and digital transformation of factories.
Gather demands for new and improved infrastructure services and ensure business satisfaction with existing services.
Collaborate with Business Unit IT management, stakeholders, and third-party suppliers across hubs.
Align delivery of business processes and projects supporting IT systems with business needs to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Your Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Engineering or Computer Science) or 10+ years of senior management experience in regional IT delivery roles. Must be a USA Citizen or Permanent Resident.
5+ years experience in IT delivery management across regions.
5+ years experience in manufacturing operations, processes, and change management.
5+ years experience managing complex global projects, including IT system integration.
