What you will do
What you will do
The Director, IT & PS Procurement is responsible for supporting operational, functional, and personnel activities in IT Infrastructure, IT Software, IT Services and Professional Services categories, focusing on creating and delivering category strategies, overseeing supplier management and maintaining key stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the strategic sourcing and procurement activities for IT and Professional Services to drive cost savings and efficiency
• Develop and implement innovative procurement strategies to optimize vendor relationships and ensure quality service delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives
• Provide leadership and guidance to procurement team members to achieve departmental goals and objectives
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve procurement processes and drive innovation
• Lead the development and implementation of category strategies to optimize the organization's supply base and enhance competitive advantage
• Align category strategies with overall business objectives and goals
• Drive financial, ESG, service, and innovation targets to support business growth
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and uphold responsible supplier and procurement standards
• Optimize procurement processes through the use of digital solutions, business process outsourcing, and internal resources
• Engage with executive leadership to cultivate key supplier relationships
• Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the procurement function
• Continuously improve procurement capabilities by benchmarking industry best practices
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
• University/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a related field
• Minimum of 10-12 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management, with a focus on IT (Hardware, Software and IT Services) and Professional Services
• Proven track record of successfully leading procurement initiatives and driving cost savings
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective vendor relationships
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage a team and collaborate with stakeholders
• Extensive knowledge of the Professional Services & IT industries
• Track record of delivering against OKRs
Desired Qualifications
• Procurement or Supply Chain related degree
• Proven experience in implementing ESG strategies and best practices
• Strong leadership, communication, influencing, and collaboration skills
• Ability to identify and implement customer-oriented innovative solutions
• Capability to understand and address the diverse needs of stakeholders such as Finance, Tech & Data, Supply Chain etc.
• Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams towards achieving strategic objectives
• Experience in managing diverse stakeholder needs in IT and Professional services procurement projects
What's in it for you
Annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges:
$183,175.00 - $258,600.00
This takes into account a number of factors including work location, the candidate's skills, experience, education level & other job-related factors.
