The Director, IT Procurement is responsible for executing and continuously improving the strategy of a world-class IT procurement function. This role will collaborate across all business units within CSG and drive strategic supplier relationships, managing complex contract negotiations, and aligning IT procurement with enterprise goals. This leader must have the desire and ability to work cross functionally with stakeholders across the entire enterprise to ensure that strategic business objectives are achieved.
Essential Job Functions
Provide functional strategic sourcing and negotiation expertise within IT spend categories including hardware, software, SaaS, infrastructure, network and IT consulting services.
Effectively plan and lead the negotiation strategy for high-value, complex sourcing events (RFx) and contract negotiations with major strategic technology providers in alignment with IT stakeholders. Manage the negotiation of business terms, cost savings, service levels, and performance standards to meet business goals.
Serve as a trusted advisor to IT business stakeholders, ensuring procurement solutions meet their operational needs.
Build strong, proactive partnerships across all departments to ensure alignment, transparency, and responsiveness.
Verify the relevance of the sourcing strategy by consulting with leaders, understanding external market trends, monitoring business conditions and priorities, continually validating, evolving, and adjusting the suitability of the functions’ strategic objectives to ensure alignment.
Conduct regular business review meetings with internal stakeholders to ensure supplier performance is meeting expectations, contractual commitments, and service levels and that any concerns are communicated in a timely manner ensuring the avoidance of service disruption and stakeholder satisfaction. Provide advice on all procurement related issues and ensure business remains in compliance with Finance, Legal, and Procurement procedures.
Manage the Supplier Onboarding and Supplier Management programs to drive operational performance, compliance and overall supplier relationship health. Manage quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with key suppliers to assess their capabilities, financial stability, and on-going performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and scorecard development.
Lead the IT Procurement team with a service-oriented mindset, ensuring they are equipped with the right tools and training to deliver results that are aligned with business needs.
Cultivate a strong team environment and a strong service culture that ensures delivery of timely and quality services to all customers.
Operate with significant autonomy.
This job requires domestic and/or international travel up to 10%.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Supply Chain, Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
Experience
10 - 12 years of overall strategic sourcing and IT procurement experience
Experience in Category Management approach, especially within IT categories
Ability to negotiate complex technology agreements that align with business needs
Experience in running complex Sourcing events (RFx) and analyzing results
Excellent management and supervisory skills with experience managing extended global teams (North America, Asia Pacific, Latin America, EMEA)
Excellent relationship management skills and collaboration expertise with all business functions and executive level management.
Leadership, project management, research, and analytical skills are a must
Exceptional oral and written communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to make decisions and commit to completion dates.

Ability to use a personal computer. Proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in a business environment.

Position Pay Range:
This range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
$139,868.30-$223 789,51 This role is eligible for a bonus opportunity.
