Provide strategic leadership for the IT Infrastructure department, overseeing teams responsible for enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, network architecture, cybersecurity, and technical operations.
Develop and execute long-term infrastructure strategies that align with organizational goals, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable IT systems—both on-premises and cloud-based—to support healthcare operations and electronic medical records (EMR).
Lead the management and optimization of cloud infrastructure, including platform selection, cost efficiency, performance, scalability, and governance.
Oversee the technical implementation of cybersecurity measures, including network and endpoint security, intrusion detection/prevention, vulnerability management, and incident response readiness.
Ensure infrastructure and security architectures are aligned to support regulatory compliance, including HIPAA and other healthcare IT standards.
Manage infrastructure budgets, including forecasting, cost control, and planning for future technology investments.
Partner with senior leadership to define, monitor, and report on key IT performance indicators and drive improvements in system reliability and operational efficiency.
Ensure robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans are developed, tested, and maintained to support uninterrupted service delivery.
Drive the adoption and integration of innovative technologies, including cloud-native tools, AI, and emerging infrastructure trends.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Collaborate with vendors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies to ensure alignment with external standards, audits, and best practices.
Develop, maintain, and communicate infrastructure policies, procedures, and documentation in accordance with NAPA and IT governance protocols.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of departmental and organizational objectives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent work experience will also be considered.
At least 10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure roles, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity within a healthcare environment.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure, preferably with Microsoft Azure or equivalent platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in cybersecurity infrastructure, including methodologies, tools, and technical implementations.
Deep expertise in enterprise systems, network architecture, and technical operations management.
Demonstrated success leading complex, large-scale IT projects from planning through execution.
Strong knowledge of healthcare and IT compliance requirements, including HIPAA and other relevant federal and state regulations.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with a track record of building, managing, and motivating high-performing teams.
Strategic mindset with a proven ability to drive operational improvements and foster technological innovation within a healthcare context.
