Director, Integrated Media Planning

: We are looking for a Director, Media Planning for one of dentsu’s largest B2B accounts. You will join a supportive team and work with a client that sees us as a true partner. You will serve in an important leadership role. You will report to our Group Director, Media Planning. You will also get to demonstrate your working knowledge of the B2B space and available media research and systems. You will help manage the daily tasks by focusing on important client goals and communicating appropriate resource needs to meet ongoing client goals. This role can be remote, and ideally we’d like you to work PST hours. You will be managing a team of three. Responsibilities: Coordinate with multi-channel global teams to design modern, strategic and thoughtful integrated media plans across a myriad of channels (Search, Video, Social, Digital, Programmatic and Audio)
Comfort overseeing and communicating directly with clients on questions and media plans
Evaluate timelines and manage daily deliverables
Experience analyzing competitive landscapes, pulling reports using agency tools and compiling insights
Manage a large Media Budget and Flowchart
Guide media channel selection and forward think on new opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years of total experience in a large agency setting
Deep understanding of all media channels and experience coordinating across multiple media disciplines with a heavy focus on Search/Programmatic/Social/Digital
Tactical experience using lead management platforms
8+ years of experience with Media Ocean, DDS, Nielsen Ad Intel, Pathmatics, Media Tools, Web Analytics, Ad Servers, Media Research tools
3+ years of experience of leading multiple levels of direct reports in a large agency setting
Understanding of planning sponsorship campaigns on a national level
Comfortable working with budgets/numbers and an understanding of mathematical concepts
