In this role, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, and cloud environments. You will lead teams responsible for delivering critical systems, ensuring business continuity, and driving innovation through automation and efficiency improvements. Acting as both a strategist and hands-on leader, you will manage IT operations, governance, and compliance while aligning technology with business goals. This is a highly visible position that requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions across a complex environment. Accountabilities: Oversee teams managing servers, storage, virtualization, cloud environments, and disaster recovery. Develop tactical plans and long-term roadmaps to increase automation, reduce costs, and improve IT service delivery. Lead capacity planning, infrastructure optimization, and integration of new technologies. Manage IT operations governance, including contractor oversight, budgeting, and vendor relationships. Establish measurable objectives, policies, and procedures for IT systems and infrastructure. Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA, SOX, and PCI, and adherence to ITIL practices. Partner with senior leadership to align IT strategy with organizational goals and support new business initiatives. Lead recruitment, training, and development of IT staff while fostering a high-performing culture. Requirements Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in Computer Science or Information Systems. Minimum 8 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in management roles. Strong background in infrastructure operations, including servers, storage, networks, and security. Experience with virtualization technologies (Citrix, Horizon, App/Desktop Virtualization) and cloud platforms (Azure preferred). Knowledge of ITIL processes and regulatory frameworks including HIPAA, SOX, and PCI. Healthcare industry experience is strongly preferred. Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence and collaborate across executive and operational teams to drive results.
