About the Role
The Company is in need of an experienced Director of Information Services to spearhead strategic technology initiatives that bolster clinical operations and improve healthcare delivery. This role is pivotal in partnering with executive leadership and operational teams to design, implement, and optimize critical healthcare systems, with a focus on driving continuous improvement in application services. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategy, implementation, and optimization of key healthcare information systems, overseeing multiple projects, and ensuring their successful delivery across a complex, multi-site environment. Additionally, the Director will be tasked with monitoring operational performance, driving process improvements, establishing service levels, and ensuring high-quality end-user support.
Applicants for the Director of Information Services position at the company must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, at least 5 years of leadership experience in Information Technology, and a proven track record of leading projects in a complex, multi-site environment. Experience with enterprise healthcare systems, particularly Epic, and knowledge of ITIL service delivery processes are essential. The role requires strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in budgeting and resource management. The Director will also be responsible for recruiting, mentoring, and developing information services team members, and must be adept at managing multiple complex initiatives while ensuring that technology solutions align with the company's mission and operational goals.
