Responsibilities As an innovation leader, we look for ambitious, forward-thinking, open-minded, and well-rounded individuals to join our global team. Located in our downtown Denver office, you will support the overall business strategy with the key HR priorities which include: building talent and organizational capability; creating a high-performance, high-engagement culture; and pursuing continuous improvement and global HR functional excellence.
You'll serve as a business partner to the corporate leadership team and as a leader on human resources practices and strategies within the business.
You will support management and employees by providing human resources advice and counsel, gathering and analyzing information, and directing them to the appropriate resources to resolve issues.
You will review and analyze employee feedback from surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one channels to evaluate engagement and recommend improvements to the employee experience.
This position will report to the VP, Human Resources, Corporate Functions.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and execute HR strategies that support business goals and enhance organizational effectiveness.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on talent, culture, and organizational design.
Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
Provide insight and leadership into operational issues, goals, and strategic HR initiatives.
Drive core HR process excellence across the business: leadership and employee development, performance management, reward and recognition, employee engagement, and communications.
Collaborate with the Total Rewards COE to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
Support annual compensation planning, bonus programs, and benefits optimization.
Work with the management team in recruitment and hiring, developing appropriate offer letters, oversight of compensation.
Work closely with HR leadership at Gates Headquarters as well as counterparts in other businesses and groups.
Manage labor and employee relations matters and ensure legislative compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Administer compensation, benefits, and recognition programs for the business.
Communicate and deploy corporate-wide HR initiatives across the business.
Perform on-site training and work with the Talent Management COE to execute various leadership training activities.
Ad Hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications Minimum 10 - 12 years of Human Resources experience
B.S. Degree in a related discipline required
MS/MBA highly desirable
PHR/SPHR preferred
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
High level of influencing, coaching, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Capable in talent assessment and selection; organizational and HR analytics
Demonstrated success in building organization capability and upgrading talent
No travel required
Excited to work in the office with great teammates
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Pay & Benefits Full-Time
Salary Range: $165,000 - $189,300
