Compensation: Pay range listed as $94,200.00 - $129,500.00+ annually. Location: Lombard, Illinois (Beacon Hill community, 2400 S Finley Road, Lombard, IL 60148). Responsibilities Act as the liaison between the support center accounts payable department and the community; train and assist team members on the software, complete new vendor request forms when needed. Communicate finalized budget numbers to department heads and educate regarding their meaning. Monitor budget expenses throughout the year. Coordinate financial approval for incoming Entrance Fee residents. Manage Entrance Fee residents’ closings by attending closings, depositing checks, and submitting paperwork to the support center. Track and request Entrance Fee refunds for departing residents. Coordinate hardship requests for applicable residents between the community and support center for approval. Oversee the revenue cycle at the community; understand residents’ agreements to ensure charges are invoiced monthly, statements are provided timely, payments are collected timely, and cash is posted appropriately. Ensure billing checks and balances are followed, including daily census balancing and monthly billing. Ensure pre-collection of any applicable payments for incoming residents. Proactively manage DSO rates and follow collection procedures to obtain payments and reduce DSO. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, management, business, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Minimum of three years of CCRC experience. At least 2 years of accounting experience that includes Medicare processing and related rules and regulations. Extensive knowledge of financial implications and state insurance rules governing Entry Fee communities and similar arrangements.
