OVERVIEW: The Newcoast Director of Financial Products & Services is a key leadership role responsible for strategic growth, customer excellence, and driving financial performance of Newcoast's Products and Services Group. This role will lead all aspects of the Financial Products and Services (FPS) organization, including market expansion, customer retention, product innovation, and operational efficiency while cultivating synergies within MarineMax’s broader ecosystem. The Director of Financial Products and Services will develop and implement innovative strategies to meet organizational goals, establish and nurture relationships with stakeholders, and ensure the FPS group operates efficiently and profitably. This role encompasses a balance of visionary leadership and hands-on operational oversight.
KEY TASKS:
Champion Newcoast’s mission, vision, and values in all actions, fostering a culture of excellence, integrity, and innovation.
Lead by example to motivate and inspire teams across the organization, ensuring alignment with Newcoast’s strategic goals and long-term vision.
Develop and execute a comprehensive, forward-thinking recreational marine focused strategy that expands the servicible attainable market (SAM) of Newcoast while optimizing MarineMax retail revenue capture.
Lead efforts to introduce innovative products, services, and offerings that enhance Newcoast’s competitive positioning in the marketplace.
Instil a robust Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) discipline to optimize value creation while reducing waste.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless customer experiences and prompt resolution of issues, driving high customer satisfaction (FANS) scores.
Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop staff to create a high-performing team.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, administrative partners, underwriters and insustry press media.
Develop and implement best practices for all aspects of the business while maintaining a deep understanding of F&I product and service regulations to ensure that the business remains compliant with all international, federal and states laws and industry regulations.
Establish and manage annual budgets for the FPS Group, with a focus on achieiving revenue, market share, and profitability growth.
Set clear objectives, track KPI’s, and conduct regular team member performance reviews to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
Present detailed performance and operational reports to the Financial Services President.
Provide informed strategic recommendations to the executive leadership team key business initiatives upon request.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement through regular training across the ecosystem to enhance holistic technical expertise.
Create high stakeholder engagement by fostering strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
Represent Newcoast in industry events, conferences, and forums, promoting the company’s vision, leadership and commitment to the marine industry.
Project a professional and knowledgeable image to all customers and team members.

KEY RESULT AREAS: Assures consistent and predictable growth in commission and contingency revenue for each Third Party Administrator as volume increases.
Assures consistent and predictable growth in each product line, service categoryand marketing channel.
Improves or eliminates underperforming products.
Utilization of measurement tools and techniques to provide forecasting and accurate growth expectations for all product and service offerings.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: 10 years or more experience in a senior management role, with a proven track record of driving results
Comprehensive knowledge of service contracts, regulatory compliance, and market product lifecycle management.
Demonstrated financial success in maintaining and growing an Underwriter, TPA, Product Agency or complete line of business.
This person must have strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to influence others and strong cross-functional leadership.
This person is charismatic, friendly, and upbeat with ability to build rapport with internal and external staff, partners, and customers.
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
Capability to navigate ambiguity and adapt to evolving business landscapes.
Understanding and aptitude with modern computer technology, Zoom and other software tools.
