We are seeking an experienced data-driven leader for our open Director, Financial Analytics & Strategy role. Not only will this role oversee accounts receivable and tenant collections, but they will also be at the forefront of shaping how we leverage data to drive collections performance and optimize portfolio health across our industrial real estate platform. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to identify trends/patterns that help anticipate risks (i.e. detect early warning signs of delinquency), uncover operational efficiencies, and collaborate with internal teams to drive resolution. The ideal candidate will blend financial acumen with excellent interpersonal skills to maintain positive tenant relationships while safeguarding company revenue and support growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage all aspects of tenant collections across a diverse portfolio of industrial properties.
Analyze tenant payment behavior to help uncover trends; proactively mitigating risks and identifying opportunities for intervention to optimize cash flow performance across our portfolio.
Reporting: Prepare monthly reporting and forecasting for leadership, highlighting risk areas and suggested actions. Develop and maintain collection reports, aging analyses, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Proactively engage with tenants on outstanding balances, ensuring timely resolution of payment issues.
Enhance collections analytics, translating data into business insights for key leaders.
Collaborate with CAM, Lease Accounting, Leasing, Property Management, and Legal teams to address delinquencies or disputes.
Implement and refine collections policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Utilize property management and accounting software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, etc.) to monitor account activity and maintain accurate records.
Support annual audits and internal controls related to collections and receivables.
Oversight and reporting on status of rent redirections due to acquisition or refinance of a property or set of properties
Manage a team of 5 direct reports; lead point of contact as AR resource for indirect reports on the property/asset management teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field; relevant experience may substitute.
8+ years of experience in collections, financial analysis, corporate finance, or FP&A
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and act decisively.
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Excel and financial reporting tools. Experience using property management platforms such as Yardi, MRI, or similar a plus
Excellent communication and storytelling skills - able to translate complex data into actionable insights –
Experience collaborating cross-functionally to drive results
Experience working in complex, matrixed organizations or across multiple business unitswith senior level stakeholders
Ability to balance firmness with professionalism in tenant interactions.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
$145,000 - $185,000 represents the presently anticipated base compensation pay range for this position at Link. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
