Role Overview This role focuses on developing standards and guidelines related to U.S. (re-) export controls and sanctions laws across the Bosch network worldwide, translating these into regional practices. It extends the global Governance team’s efforts to ensure compliance and effective risk management. Key Responsibilities Manage global risk assessments, derive governance requirements, and establish minimum standards. Monitor legal updates (including Executive Orders, EAR, OFAC, ITAR), assess impacts, and implement measures accordingly. Contribute to the design and enhancement of re-export control processes, focusing on U.S. laws, including reporting systems and compliance frameworks. Conduct export audits and health checks, analyze risk indicators, and monitor compliance data. Communicate regulatory changes and deliver re-export compliance training to stakeholders. Serve as a business partner on export control issues, liaising with business units, departments, and authorities. Qualifications 12+ years in Export Controls with an Associate Degree and 9+ years of U.S. export control experience (EAR, OFAC, ITAR, FTR). Proven leadership skills with 5+ years of influencing and motivating teams. Deep knowledge of U.S., EU, and UN sanctions and export laws. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to make independent decisions within compliance frameworks. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and audit skills. Willingness to research and stay updated on regulations. Organizational and prioritization skills. Experience in the automotive industry and with software/technology export compliance is preferred. Additional Details Travel: 10%-20% (domestic and international) *Bosch complies with all applicable laws regarding drug testing. Employment is contingent upon passing a drug screen and background check. Salary Range: $200,000 - $240,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
