Director, Energy Storage Development As Director, Energy Storage Development, you will drive business development activities for industrial, commercial and utility scale energy storage projects throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico. The Director, Energy Storage Development will identify opportunities and respond to them, support opportunities sourced through our partners as well as responding to opportunities within the marketplace. This position will be supported by US and Asian based technical team and will be based in the United States.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Identify and respond to opportunities for energy storage in the North America
Represent our productswith customers, state and local officials, industry associations, trade shows, etc.
Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiation
Own business development and work in conjunction with our partners to develop opportunities.
Participate in contract negotiations
Work with the Energy Storage Systems technical team on critical issues including system design, project pricing, warranty and guarantee information for project components
Lead the proposal process
Identify and define key market drivers, target critical markets for project development
Requirements: BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical degree
At least five years demonstrated experience developing energy-related projects with detailed knowledge of regional utilities, tariffs, and incentive programs
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an electrical consultant, application engineer or related industry
Renewable Power Distribution Systems Experience
Strong CAD and computer software skills are required
