Director of Engineering – Leadership Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Engineering to join a well-established firm and lead a dynamic team in drafting, fabrication detailing, quality control, and engineering. This is a key leadership role reporting directly to the President, where you’ll drive innovation, process improvement, and deliver outstanding results across a robust project portfolio. About the Role:

Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and execute organizational strategies, including annual planning and continuous improvement initiatives. Lead and mentor a team of 26+ professionals across multiple functions, ensuring performance, resource allocation, and development. Manage a diverse workload of $35M-$50M annually, overseeing 210-250 projects with a focus on quality and timely execution. Utilize Autodesk software, Bluebeam, and structural analysis tools to enhance engineering processes and integrate new technologies. Drive innovation and improvements in engineering processes and workflows, supporting departmental efficiency and project success.

Who You Are:

10+ years of engineering leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage teams and drive organizational success. Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or equivalent credentials in process improvement. Strong cross-departmental collaboration and project management experience. Preferred: Engineering Degree and PE certification.

Salary Range:

$130,000-$210,000 depending on prior experience and credentials.
